Call to submit request for financial support for projects designed to improve the quality of the environment
The Sheli Fund, - Grassroots for a Green Environment, invites active environmental groups to submit a request for project funding.
Sheli encourages local activists, working voluntarily, to strengthen environmental work on a local level, and consequently connect these activities to civil environmental movements on the national level in Israel.
Proposals may be in the nature of initiating a struggle to support your policy, or running activist groups. They can be on any topic concerning the environment that you find important.
The Fund does not support research, infrastructures, scholarships, playgrounds etc.
Only non-profit organizations are eligible to apply. We suggest that individuals from active committees apply through these NPO's.
Suitable applicants will receive grants of up to 15,000 NIS
Please see the Sheli website for samples of the Fund's activities,
application forms and lists of past grant recipients updated
